We want to create a world class education system in which all Northamptonshire children and young people develop the skills, knowledge and confidence to have a successful future life.
We are focussing on student achievement in its broadest sense and plan to transform educational experiences for children and young people so that they are fit for the 21st Century.
The Learning, Achievement & School Improvement division of the County Council has recently been reorganised and now has strong area based school improvement teams, created to facilitate better working. Northamptonshire Professional Learning Communities (NPLC) teams are developing networks for teachers at all stages of their career, from NQT through AST to School Leadership.
Our aim is to ensure that teachers and other education professionals choose Northamptonshire because of the quality of support and professional development , as well as for the excellent promotion opportunities.
